It’s a New Year with New Products

2017 is here and it’s time to celebrate the excitement surrounding the release of the new products in Stampin’ Up!’s new 2017 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration mini which are NOW available. Who loves FREE? I do, for sure! And, Sale-A-Bration offers many new FREE products you and I can earn with every $50 in product we purchase (before shipping/handling and tax), with a few more to choose from towards the end of February.

In fact, an order of $150 earns Stampin’ Rewards and qualifies for 3 FREE items from the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog. During Sale-A-Bration, an order of $250 or more qualifies for an extra $25 in Stampin’ Rewards plus 5 FREE Sale-A-Bration products. Take a look through the catalog PDFs by clicking on each of the catalog covers below and begin making your Wish List or shop now. And, don’t forget about my Starfish Rewards frequent shopper program. If your Wish List is lengthy, like mine, you may want to consider purchasing the Ultimate Bundle (for just $99) and joining my stamping Beachcombers team! I’d been a hobby stamper for almost 20 years, when my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator talked to me about joining her team as a hobbyist and purchasing the Ultimate Bundle for just $99. With my love for SU! products, I couldn’t refuse this offer. Ordering $125 in SU! products of my choosing, then selecting 2 additional stamp sets for FREE! And a discount on my future purchases, too, to support my hobby! I was all in! And, YOU, can be too! Just email me and I’ll be happy to fill you in on all the details and answer any questions you may have.

Now, on to the crafty good stuff! There are so many fun and versatile new products in the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration mini catalog. I want to point out a couple of my favorites to get this party started. Then, over the coming weeks, I’ll focus on some other favorite products and show you samples from those products.

I ran across some 4″ x 6″ notepads at Target and thought these would be fun to decorate and give as gifts along with a special new pen.  I also created a matching gift box for the new pen and tied it closed with a piece of 1/8″ Silver Ribbon from the current Annual catalog. For the first notepad and pen set, I used the first of my favorites, the new Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies including the beautiful sentiment. These are sold in a bundle (Dragonfly Dreams Bundle) for added savings (page 26 of Occasions catalog). Take a look!

Here is another version, using supplies from the Annual catalog along with the new Stitched Shapes Framelits that will be available in the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. These framelits were available for a limited time in 2016 and were wildly popular; I LOVE my set of stitched dies! This layout makes a nice personalized monogrammed style notepad.

Below is another picture of each notepad. Are you curious about the new pens I’m gifting? Which notepad design do you like best? Leave me your feedback below. I’d also love for you to subscribe to my blog by clicking on the Follow Me Now button to the right so you don’t miss my post on the pens I purchased and another notepad sample using supplies from each of these two cards. I’ll also include the measurements for the pen box at that time which measures 6″ x 5/8″ x 5/8″. Here is a link to that post, Dragonfly Dreams & More.

From the new Sale-A-Bration mini, my first favorite is the Tasty Truck stamp set.  Check this product out on page 12-13. Combine this stamp set with the new Watercolor Pencils, and let your creativity begin. The Watercolor Pencils can be found on page 24 of the Occasions catalog.

I love both these notepads. Both are very pretty. As to my favorites in the new catalog, I have two that are high on my wish list: the dragonfly and the hot air balloon. I can many occasions for both. I found your blog recently and love your creations and style. I’m looking forward to seeing what new pen you have found.

    • It’s a 4×6 note pad. So I cut a 4×6 piece in black, then cut a 4×5.5 piece of patterned DSP. And centered it top to bottom to crest a 1/4″ black strip at top and bottom. Then add your designs. Or can use solid color of card crock and stamp on it like I did for the purple Dragonfly version.
